About
This two-hour interactive online workshop, is designed to help you understand the basics of information and media literacy. It will cover the tools and techniques to consider when creating various forms of media, as well as how to find and assess credible information and resources.
By the end of the workshop, you will have a better understanding about the importance of information literacy in your role and for your learners, as well as guidance when developing your own media and content. You will also receive a list of resources that you can use to continue your learning journey beyond the workshop.

- Non-members - Eligible local government, public sector, private/independent education providers and non-profit customers
- VAT - is charged at 20% of the value of the service. If you are a member of Jisc’s VAT-exempt cost sharing group, and you are able to provide confirmation of the exact taxable/exempt use of the service, we will be able to reduce the amount of VAT chargeable to reflect the taxable business use proportion of the service only.
