Jisc and Adobe bring the power of digital transformation and AI in education to life at Digifest 2025
The event will showcase how connected creativity can enhance teaching outcomes and student experience.
Jisc has announced Adobe as a strategic partner for Digifest 2025.
Digifest, taking place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Birmingham on 11-12 March and online, brings together the UK’s learning and teaching communities to explore fresh solutions and practical strategies for navigating the complexities and challenges of the sector and to shape the future of learning.
Adobe will bring their industry-leading creativity and AI toolsets to the event, feature in keynote and community sessions, and will provide delegates with the chance to demonstrate their own digital innovation throughout the two days.
Adobe’s support of Digifest is the continuation of an existing and successful partnership with Jisc.
Since September 2024, the two organisations have been promoting best practice in the transformation of curriculum design and assessment through a programme of training and community support called Transforming Together: Leading and Learning.
The programme, for tertiary education institutions that have purchased the new Jisc Adobe enterprise term licence agreement (ETLA) with the new Adobe Express option, aims to enhance digital fluency, AI skills, share experiences across the sector, and promote exploration of digital transformation.
Participating institutions receive access to Jisc and Adobe experts, special resources and quarterly workshops with the wider community of Jisc institutions using the new Adobe Express licence option to learn how best to integrate the tools into their curriculum and digital transformation efforts.
12 institutions have been working with Jisc and Adobe experts on the programme, and four will share their experiences at Digifest, highlighting how they have connected to their wider digital transformation efforts at a special keynote on day one of the event.
Jisc and Adobe will also share the Connected Creativity in Education stand at the event showcasing the programme and the generative AI power of Adobe Express and Adobe Firefly.
Jonathan Hofgartner, Jisc’s head of learning and teaching, licensing, said:
"We’re delighted to welcome Adobe to Digifest. Our partnership in creating the Transforming together: leading and learning programme has been a brilliant success, supporting institutions to bring creativity and digital skills into learning, teaching and assessment. We’ll be exploring how this programme has helped to improve outcomes for our members and sharing how other institutions can utilise the same ideas."
Mark Andrews, principle strategic development manager for Adobe Education, said:
"Adobe is proud to partner with Jisc on Digifest 2025, uniting our mission to empower institutions to foster innovation and digital transformation in education. By adopting our leading creativity platforms and generative AI technologies in Adobe Express and Adobe Creative Cloud, institutions are providing educators and students with the tools they need to be future-ready."
Digifest will once again take place in person at the International Conference Centre (ICC) Birmingham, and online, on 11-12 March 2025. Registration closes on 28 February so book now to secure your space.
