Role
My role is to help Jisc with its vision for the UK to be the most digitally advanced higher, further and research nation in the world. I work as part of the senior executive leadership team to contribute to the overall leadership, direction and development of Jisc.
I'll create the group IT strategy and vision for the future, providing strategic technical leadership and vision to Jisc’s technology staff, across networking, digital information resources, innovation and internal IT.
I provide technical thought leadership to Jisc’s technological developments to ensure fitness for purpose, coherence across the group and to stimulate enhanced levels of innovation for the benefit of all of the sectors in which it operates.
I represent Jisc, when required, at all levels including central government and devolved administrations, and in international collaborations.
